Early Childhood Programs

Pre-Nursery (1.5 to 2.5 years old)

This stage marks the transition of a child from infancy to a toddler stage. Here is where he will experience his “firsts” inside a classroom. This is when a child will first learn to communicate and express himself outside his home and his family. St. Therese Academy encourage their students to explore and have their first great adventure in school.

Nursery (2.5 to 3.5 years old)

St. Therese Academy is very aware of how crucial this stage is in a child’s life. This is when he should be prepared to be more independent and ready for structured learning. The school has prepared a set of activities that will ensure that a child is physically, emotionally and intellectually ready to face new challenges.

Kinder (3.5 to 4.5 years old)

At this stage, the child will be introduced to the three R’s learning namely: Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. St. Therese Academy makes sure to make the learning process as interesting and enjoyable to the children. The program serves as a basic springboard to in preparing the child for big schools.

Preparatory (4.5 to 5.5 years old)

Mastery of skills that have been acquired during the basic stages is taught during the preparatory stage. At this point, the curriculum gives emphasis on the discovery and practical application of their skills.

Note: Foreign language will be introduced as part of their communication curriculum.
